Description
This one-day course covers shotguns, one of the most versatile firearms that a citizen can own. Shotguns are one of the most effective tools in a home defender’s arsenal, and an excellent hunting arm for a variety of game. While the perceived recoil can initially be intimidating, effective fundamentals and solid foundation work in marksmanship equips a firearm owner with a phenomenally effective tool. New and experienced shooters alike will find useful and applicable information throughout this course! We will provide a variety of shotguns for you to use in the course (or bring your own!), as well as ammunition for the class at cost, for this challenging and educational class.
Students will need the following:
- Shotgun
- 100 rds (Birdshot)
- 5 rds (Slug)
- 5 rds (Buckshot)
- Eye and ear protection
- Close-toed shoes
- Any other range gear you usually prefer! (belt pouch for loose shells, kneepads, etc., not required)
